About
Attorney Dustin B. Pittman, a native of Elm City, North Carolina, is the principal of Pittman Agner. He practices primarily in the areas of Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Traffic Law, and Civil Litigation.
Dustin joined Pittman Agner in 2012 after gaining experience with Diener Law, P.A. in Greenville and operating his own solo practice in Wilson County. He became a partner in 2016 and assumed the role of principal in 2025, leading the firm’s continued growth and commitment to client advocacy.
What sets Dustin apart is his unwavering passion for protecting his clients’ rights. He brings a results-driven approach to every case, combining practical courtroom experience with a deep understanding of the legal system to achieve meaningful outcomes for those he represents.
Community Involvement
Dustin is deeply committed to public service and community leadership. His involvement includes:
- Chairman, Wayne County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (since 2019), supporting programs for at-risk youth
- Program Director, American Legion Tar Heel Boys’ State (since 2022), a civic education program for rising high school seniors
- Founding Member and Attorney, Adult Accountability and Recovery Court Program serving Wayne, Lenoir, and Greene Counties
- General Counsel, Wayne County Republican Party
- Treasurer, St. Luke United Methodist Church
Education
Dustin graduated from East Carolina University in 2007 with degrees in Communications and Political Science, completing his studies in three years. While at ECU, he was active in Student Government, held leadership roles within the College Republicans, and served as the Voice of Lady Pirate Basketball on campus radio station WZMB 91.3 FM.
He earned his Juris Doctor from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2010 on the advocacy track. During law school, Dustin competed nationally as a member of the Buffalo-Niagara Trial Competition Team and the National Trial Competition Team. He also served as Student Body Treasurer from 2008–2009 and was inducted into the Order of the Barrister in recognition of outstanding courtroom advocacy.

Education
Dustin is a 2007 graduate of East Carolina University, where he studied Communications and Political Science, graduating in three years. While at East Carolina he was involved in Student Government and was in the leadership of the East Carolina College Republicans. He was also the Voice of Lady Pirate Basketball for East Carolina’s campus radio station WZMB 91.3 FM.
Dustin attended Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and graduated in 2010 on the advocacy track. While at Campbell, he was a member of the Buffalo-Niagara Trial Competition Team and the National Trial Competition Team, representing Campbell Law against the best law schools around the country. Dustin was also involved in Student Government, serving as the Student Body Treasurer from 2008-2009 and was the Head Coach of Campbell’s representative in the North Grounds Softball League Invitational in Charlottesville, Virginia a yearly tournament featuring teams from law schools from all over the country.
